We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and lovely showers. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and the location, surrounded by beautiful forestry, provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The hosts, Simon and Carol, were excellent - they were friendly, accommodating, and always available to help. The kitchen was well-stocked and the conservatory was a great place to relax. We also appreciated the private road leading to the hotel, as it added to the excitement of the stay.
Nothing, all was good.

We had an amazing three night stay at Ramblers Retreat over New Years with friends. The cottage was spacious, with excellent views and had everything we needed. The owners, Simon and Carol, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location was peaceful and stunning, with fields of horses nearby and even a deer sighting. It was a perfect place for quiet walks and a breath of fresh air.
The morning meal could have been improved with a larger variety of options.

Stayed in a 105-acre property with its own private road, felt like a queen! Fully equipped kitchen for my demanding taste. Drove miles to engage in various activities, luckily airport nearby.
Oh, well I just loved everything, but if I have to nitpick, maybe I wanted to be an Internet maniac and the wifi was intermittent.

Hidden gem in the woods. Perfect for a peaceful getaway!
The "magic bin" confused me, but who needs to figure out how to throw away rubbish anyway?

A fantastic escape in the countryside with a fully equipped kitchen for the ambitious chefs, and plenty of activities to keep you busy if you're not too busy relaxing.
Who needs good phone signal or WiFi when you're surrounded by mountains and stunning views? Certainly not me!

We had a fantastic stay at Ramblers Retreat Villa. The location is remote yet convenient, with stunning views and easy access to shopping and amenities. The cottage is spacious and well-equipped, including a kitchen with everything you need and a washing machine and dryer for muddy walks. The cottage is also very warm, perfect for those who feel the cold. The fresh air and beautiful surroundings make it an ideal destination for nature lovers. Simon, our host, was extremely helpful and respectful of our privacy. We couldn't have asked for a better retreat.
Nothing could have been better. 🌟
